This Week: Eisley and Mae

There are a couple new albums coming out this week, and although I don't have pre-release copies, I was able to find a bit to listen to online and they sound pretty exciting. First, there's Eisley's second full-length, Combinations. You can listen to all the tracks on Eisley's MySpace page, and after the initial listen, it sounds good. Second, Mae's third album is coming out on Tuesday as well, and it's titled Singularity. I found three tracks on Mae's PureVolume page, and it sounds pretty good as well. Looks like Tuesday might be a good day.

Mae is good stuff, although

Mae is good stuff, although I haven't bought any of it yet. I need to check out Eisley as well. I have to admit, though...Kanye's new one is the disc I'm most looking forward to.

If I buy Kanye, It Will Be On Sept. 11th

As Shaun Groves reports, apparently 50 Cent will give up his career as a rapper if Kanye outsells him on September 11th. Depending on your review, that might give me enough reason to buy it. ;-)

:)

Yeah, that won't happen. I know 50 has said it, but there's no way. I also read a while ago that 50 and Kanye were planning to have a televised debate to argue the merits of their new albums. THAT would be something to see, but please ... it's about as likely as 50 going out while there's still money to be made.

Keep bangin', D. The site's looking great.
