I know I'm supposed to find news and write about it on this site, but lately most of the news out there hasn't really interested me.  So in stead, my contribution to the content on this site is going to be in the form of telling you about a conversation I had this week.

Happy 2007 music fans! I, like many other writers for this site, have been swamped with end-of-year travel and work in the "real world."  One of my many (too many?) resolutions for the new year, however, is to provide inReview.net with at least two or three news blurbs per week.

So, like our fearless leaders have mentioned recently, stay tuned to this web site as we grow right before your eyes in 2007.  It will remind you a little bit of watching those sponge animals that start out small and you soak them in water and watch them grow.  Or chia pets perhaps??? 

I want to apologize for not blogging about Indie Artists as promised just yet.  I'll be getting to that in the fall.  Thanks for your patience, and enjoy reading the many updates that have been posted on the site in the month of August.

I am going to blog occasionally about bands that I've learned of through the internet and word of mouth that do not currently have a label. Since this is a blog, I will probably be a bit more opinionated about some or all of these bands--good or bad. There is also a very good chance that at times I'll take a different path and talk about other music related things I'm interested in. That's what I like about a blog. I can talk about what I want to and you can choose to read it or not! Hopefully you'll like what I have to say, and we'll go from there.
