Most Spun 2006: Jonathan Grant Berlin

1. Sigur Ros - Takk...

Possibly some of the most beautiful and senses opening music that has ever been recorded. This record takes me to places of well-being and it's like a giant (((hug))) of love on my heart. I feel like flying and I feel eternity. I feel god and I feel death.

2. Thom Yorke - The Eraser

Thom's minimalism is great on this record. It's an amazing thing when someone can use few sounds, using them as sparsely as he, and creating something as compelling as he does with this record. His insights into the apocalypse and all things ending brings an overwhelming feeling of mortality to my head. This is something that I deal with every day. This record speaks to me.

3. Broken Social Scene - Broken Social Scene

The production on this record is great. The songs are catchy and it's an all around feel good record. This is one of my current favorite bands.
