I agree with you completely, Dan. I'm really not a fan of Switchfoot, but there's no mistaking the eloquence in the lyrics you cited. The message might be lost on a large number of listeners, but those who take the time to truly contemplate what the band is trying to say will find the ethos of Christ. We need more music like this.
